If your gate is stuck open, leaving your property unsecured, that's a security-critical emergency and we prioritise the dispatch above other work. If your gate is stuck closed and you can't leave the property, that's the same priority — you shouldn't be trapped on your own driveway.

Battery failures during load-shedding, motors that have failed in the middle of the night, and gates that have been driven into or damaged are all typical after-hours callouts for us.

First, disengage the manual release on the motor if you can safely reach it — this lets you push the gate manually to secure the property while you wait. The release is usually a small lever or key on the motor housing.

Second, phone us — 011 568 1739 — and stay on the line. We'll give you an ETA and, where useful, talk you through a temporary safe state until the technician arrives.

There is no premium for weekend or after-hours emergency callouts on standard repairs. We quote the repair at the same rate as a weekday callout. Only for very late-night (post-midnight) callouts do we add a modest after-hours surcharge, and we tell you upfront before dispatching.
